Give Wordpress a Try!

Earthbound has launched a new wordpress demo site: demo.earthbound.com. The site lets you change themes (look for the bar across the very top) to see how easily you can change the look of a site! The demo site also lets you give the wordpress control panel a try –  visit the Earthbound Wordpress demo login at http://demo.earthbound.com/wp-admin – log in using the username ‘demouser’ and the password ‘demouser’. Once logged into the site you can add new posts or pages, try uploading images or any other editor feature.

I did this programming project for my local public radio station, KVNF. The map sample is updated with every refresh, and a history is maintained and viewable.

Update: as of 10:50 DNS am is restored for google.com.

Its happened, the internet is dead!

Well, nearly dead anyway – today I was suddenly unable to access Google’s Analytics service around 10:10am MST. At first i thought it was a general failure, but other sites were still working. So I issued a whois command, clearly showing google’s dns has been hacked – at least at my ISP’s DNS server – 216.237.72.66.
